Why does Gavin draw so many female characters?

Gavin drew, completely freehand and from his imagination, this picture of Super Girl. He’s getting pretty good at this. 

I asked him why he’s drawing so many female Super hero’s lately. 

He simply said, ” because they are easier and more complex to draw. O_o

First thought: because he’s a teenage boy? I know things are complex with gavin, but if he’s not drawing them in bad positions then I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I draw a lot of baby animals, but I find them more fun to draw is all

If we just can get inside our kids brain… We are always psychoanalyzing his brain too… My son does people with no bodies the only one who has a body is him.. Its so strange too… I love what you always write, thanks for sharing… It feels we are not alone… Xx
