I just left a message at Lizze’s neurologists office, inquiring as what in the world could possibly be holding her med refills up.
Hopefully we’ll hear something back today.
All I know is that our pharmacy has been leaving them messages and no one is returning the phone calls and no prior authorization has been submitted.
This is really frustrating especially in the case of her Lyrica.
I think that those of you with fibromyalgia understand that if you find a medication that helps, you can’t go without it because you risk losing all the progress you’ve made.
I want to make sure that there isn’t a drop in communication somewhere.
The only way to find out, is to find out.
Update: As I was writing this post, I heard back from the doctors office, literally within minutes of leaving the message.
I was correct and there was a gap in communication. All is fix now and the scripts should be filled soon. 🙂
It just goes to show you that it’s so important to have all the information before making assumptions.
