Last night was a complete disaster. Elliott couldn’t sleep and so around 10pm he came downstairs and laid down on the couch. Lizze had already gone to bed and so I just decided that the best chance of anyone getting any sleep was to crash on the couch with Elliott.
It took about an hour or so but he finally fell asleep.
I don’t know at what point we were joined by Emmett but I woke up smashed into the back of the couch.
Emmett had woken up at some point and realized that Elliott and I were sleeping on the couch and just had to join us.
My back is killing me this morning and Lizze has an 8:30am appointment. It’s going to be a long day today. I have to get to the store and stock up on the Melatonin once again.

Melatonin made my kids totally nuts. Aggravated their PANDAS. We use a homeopathic formula Walmart sometimes carry called Calms Forte. It will knock out my oldest in around 20 minutes or so.
@rmagliozzi really? I didn’t know that. Would you be willing or interested in doing a write up on PANDAS as a guest post?
Melatonin is our best friend. My kids both have trouble sleeping and with the Melatonin they fall asleep within 20-30 minutes. They both take 5 mg every night. Our pediatrician said it is completely safe. 🙂
@shawneerenee31 some kids will get nightmares after extended use but backing off for a day or so makes them go away.
my kid laughs at melatonin…ha. haha. hahahahahaha. lucky devil you
@jjean3940 I take it Melatonin doesn’t work for your family
umm, yeah, no. rough night last night, oh well. the slow release melatonin helps a bit, but the regular drops do absolutely nothing.
