    Autism isn’t always easily detected or diagnosed. Autistic individuals are completely capable of living a normal life.

    Autism is NOT a mental disease or defect, it is a biological disorder.  This means it is due to organic rather than psychological causes.  
    Just because a child (or adult) is diagnosed with Autism, it does NOT mean that they are incapable of living a healthy, happy life.
