Today’s #Autism Victory: Naptime

Sometimes, it’s the tiniest victories that have the biggest impact. Today for example was made a tiny bit easier by the fact that Emmett actually took a nap this afternoon. 

He fell asleep while watching Netflix on the TV. 

He’s pretty much outgrown the whole nap thing but still does better after having one.  I’m thankful that he fell asleep for about an hour.  Not only did that give me a small break, but it put him in a much better mood for the rest of the day. 

This was a tiny victory but one that had a positive impact on everyone.  🙂
