I wanted to let everyone know that despite all the setbacks of late, there have been a few victories and big ones at that.
Our tax return came in very early, and I mean very early.
As of yesterday, I was able to pull us out of foreclosure status on our mortgage. We aren’t completely caught up but it was huge progress and that takes away a bit of stress from the mix.
I was also able to get caught up on some very important bills as well. There are still many left to be brought current but again, this is progress.
There are many things that unfortunately, fell by the wayside because of massive expense we had with the mortgage and a few other unexpected things. We weren’t able to replace our mattress or get a treadmill.
However, as I said before, we made huge progress in a few different areas and I’m thankful for that.
I’m going to make a conscious effort to remain positive about everything. I’m hoping that my positive attitude will help things to feel a bit more stable for the rest of the Lost and Tired clan. The truth is, we are coming into some very uncertain times. Our decade old business was officially shut down on February 1st.
It’s a pretty big blow to us but more on the psychological side. The business had become a rather large source of stress and contention. The economy was pretty rough on us. Having said that, it was a sweet ride and I’m proud that I stayed in business for over a decade.
Anyway, I just wanted to share a few of our victories because so often, all I have to share is heartache and setback.
I thought I would share some good news for a change.
