We all show our love and affection for our families in different ways. The most obvious ways being, a hug or a kiss. Sure, I do the above as well but I also show them that I love them by drinking this nasty concoction. It’s a green smoothie and when I say it’s nasty, I mean it’s really, really, really nasty. It basically liquefied veggie and it’s an acquired taste. For the record, I have yet to aquire that taste. Having said that, it’s really good for me and my family is worth it.

A few recipes to get you started. Most sweet fruits can be subbed for other ones int the recipes if you don't have them. Good luck!

Rob, that's super disgusting. No offense. Go to Green Smoothie girl "google it" and it teaches you how to make yummy smoothies. First add in some sweet fruits like pears, mangoes, bananas, blueberries, as your base. Add in some type of milk or milk sub or juice. Then throw in your greens, a few handfuls. The more bitter the more sweet stuff or stevia you'll need to add. Do not use broccoli florets! Boil the stems and throw those in so they chop up easy. Spinach that is organic is tasteless, and only do one bitter green at a time or it's too strong tasting. Run that blender until the stuff is not chunky, which will be a little over a minute. I use stevia or truvia to help sweeten it up. I've been doing this for two years for my oldest son, who hates veggies, and he won't drink it if it tastes different in any way. I would hold off on the flax too. Too chunky.

I totally agree. Thank you

You should throw a fit like Gavin so at least you'd get to eat oatmeal.

That stuff is nasty… why don't you just eat the foods? Ie: spinach salads, veggies, fruits, etc?

I can\’t do veggies. Its a texture thing. I do them this way. Although, this isn\’t much more pleasant.

That looks revolting. On Atkins, I can eat normal food allllll day and I am down 96 pounds in the last 10 months.

Wow. That\’s amazing. This is basically liquefied spinach, bok choy, bronchi, dandelion green, flax etc. Its gross but healthy. I can\’t do veggies any other way.
