As a father to three boys in the autism spectrum, I have pretty much gotten used to experiencing unusual behavior.  However, this morning has thrown me for a loop.

Elliott spent the entire morning screaming and hitting himself.

He was essentially behaving like Gavin. Something is going on and I have no idea what it is. It’s like all of a sudden, Elliott is moody and aggressive.

He’s officially off his anti-anxiety medications.  Perhaps it will be a few more days before it clears his system. So far there is no change in behavior between being on the meds and off of them.

Lizze also suggested that perhaps the anti-anxiety meds may have changed the way his body handles the ADHD meds.
All I can say is that I can’t handle him hurting himself.

This whole thing is breaking my heart.

Hopefully, we can address this with Dr.  Patti on Tuesday.
