We have started to see both Emmett and Elliott come out of their shells, so to speak. As more time passing since Gavin has moved out, the boys are both becoming more and more creative. That creativity is in the form of artwork dedicated to Lizze. Almost everyday, Elliott comes home from school with a picture he’s drawn for Lizze. The pictures always say something like this: Mommy, I’m sorry you hurt. I love you. Love Elliott. That has never happened before and now she’s getting buried in things like this from both Elliott and Emmett. Right now, Emmett is really into drawing hearts. Honest to God, I’ve never seen them do anything like this before. Sure, they’re fighting a lot and having other struggles but they are showing compassion for their mother much more openly and you should see Lizze’s face light up. I’m not saying that Gavin being gone is the reason for this. I’m just saying that this is something that we have never seen from them before. I’m looking at this as a very positive change and I’m going to embrace it, as I know Lizze is. πŸ™‚

That is awesome and I'm sure Lizzie is very happy after all that she's been through with Gavin. I love to see autistic kids interacting with one another. You are truly blessed…..
