I was spending some time with Mr. Emmett John this morning.  He choose to play with sidewalk chalk outside.

We colored pictures on the front walk for a little while before coming into the house for a snack.

I hope that I get many more opportunities like this to spend with my youngest minion.  🙂

Looks like you had fun!  We sat outside today for a few minutes enjoying the sunshine after having attended a hearing with the assistant superintendent over discipline for our county.  My youngest child was suspended for the remainder of this school year and has to attend day treatment center where he will receive therapy and will take his classes from homebound instructors who are not certified to teach the subjects he is taking.  All this from taking a lighter on the school bus and lighting his hair and a piece of paper and he doesn't get it still.  He sees no problem with lighting the hair on his head and burning the hairs off his arms.    I've let him go to spend the night with his oldest brother who I am hoping will talk a little sense into him.  I'm kind of numb at this point.
