Just to lighten the mood,  I thought I would pose this question to you all.  Can you wear socks with sandals? Taking it one step further, should you wear sock with sandals?

Yes, with a Kimono or Yukata it is not merely appropriate but mandatory for Women. My son calls them 'Kunoichi' (female ninja – lol) socks, they are white, rather stiff 'tabi' meant to be worn with really pretty ….flip flops, I guess? 'Zouri' (comfy bamboo mat bottom and velvet straps) or 'geta' (torture devices with wooden bottoms and wide enough for your average 5 year old.)

No—I almost never wear socks—interferes with my toe wiggling to keep me feeling my feet.  I usually only wear Birkenstocks year round.

I nearly always do. But that's because I wear socks all the time. No socks = sensory assault.
