Lizze and I got Gavin a watch that monitors his heart rate. It’s very simple to use. All he has to do is simply touch the bezel. He sees his heart rate within a few seconds.
Because he’s been having so many problems lately, we needed him to have something like this so that we can get his heart rate on the fly.
Right now, we have him getting a reading whenever he has any symptoms like, dizziness, nausea, chest pain or headaches.
Hopefully, we can find a pattern, of there is one, to what he is experiencing. For example, if he has chest pain, and checks his heart rate and sees that it’s really high, that gives us information. The same goes for all his symptoms.
Hopefully, we will be able to better predict the next autonomic crisis. If nothing else, it gives us a little piece of mind. That’s got to count for something.
**Thanks for reading**
