I think I mentioned before that I hurt my knee while at the Cleveland Clinic last week with Gavin. I just stepped wrong and that’s all it took.
It really bothered me forbade few days but most of last week was one long adrenaline rush, so I was able to play through the pain.
My knee doesn‘t hurt anymore but I noticed last night that it clicks when I’m walking un the stairs. It kinda sounds like someone cracking their knuckles. It doesn‘t hurt though, I guess that’s a good thing.
I haven’t walked at all since then and by walking I mean fitness walking, not walking around the house.
I want so badly to get back into it but after discussing it with my better half, we decided that I should probably give it a few more days. She right, because I would never take it easy and would push myself to hard.
I suppose this is a pointless post but I was getting frustrated and so I thought I’d spill it here and walk away, clicking but feeling better. 🙂

It’s called ‘crepitation’ (I always think – great, now I’m decrepit, too!) And is fairly common. Sounds worse than it is. If you need comfort measures for it, you can wrap it with an Ace or slip a brace on (if you don’t have time to go to the doctor, you can pick them up at walgreens or walmart). I know that you are anti medicine for yourself, but and advil or two might help. I’ve had 3 total knee replacements – no, I don’t have 3 legs, they were all on the same knee. Hope you feel better.
Thanks again,
I not anti medicine, if I need something I do what I have to do. I am however, more of play through the pain kinda guy. 🙂
Great advice. Thank you again. 🙂
my knees click all the time. as long as it isn't painful it should be ok for a while. make sure you tell your doctor about it next visit though.
