Emmett John will be turning 4 years old this coming week.  He has one birthday wish and I thought it was a pretty amazing.  My little Emmett John doesn’t want a toy or a game for his 3DS. He doesn’t want money or candy either.

My sweet little Emmett John wants to touch a cloud.  That’s all he wants.

I don’t really even know what to say to that.  To me,  I think that’s pretty profound and quite amazing that he has decided something like that.

Hopefully,  the morning of the 26th will bring with it fog. That way I can grant him his birthday wish….

Maybe you could take him to a science center or something. Where I live its called the exploritorium and they have different exhibits, including ones on weather. Maybe he could touch a cloud somewhere like that? Just a thought. What a sweet little thing Emmett came up with 🙂

Could you find one of those fog machines that they have around Halloween? Not sure if it would work for him but it’s a shot. Good luck.

That\’s a good idea. Maybe even dry ice. Heck, like I said, I\’d be happy with fog. 🙂

Oh my g-d! How deep is that!? How can a little one on the spectrum possibly come up with something like that? Amazing!!
As a teacher primarily teaching ASD kids, I am always surprised by what they can say or do!
I hope Emmets birthday is a cloudy one for him.
Happy 4th birthday, Emmet!!!!
