When you have a special needs child or children in my case, you NEED to take EVERY possible opportunity to teach them life lessons. When your child is developmentally delayed it’s sometimes the “little” things are the most challenging. Special needs families don’t have the luxury of taking the “little things” for granted. Some times the “littlest things” are the biggest accomplishments.

I try my best to turn as many everyday activities into opportunities for my kids to grow and learn. NEVER FORGET that you are your child’s MOST IMPORTANT teacher. Seize the moments….
