I love my kids I really do but they are even more difficult to manage when they are sick. Autistic kids go into a sensory tailspin when they are sick. The stuffy/runny noses, coughing, headaches and ear infections can cause sensory overload. Then factor in being home from school and having their schedule turned upside down.

They will be home tomorrow again and I feel like I’m going to lose my mind. I need them back in school. We need a break. I think God should make it so Autistic kids never get sick and if they do never all at the same time.
