Gavin’s facial ticks are getting really bad now. We are waiting to hear back from the doctor. He goes back in later this week. All his facial expressions are greatly exaggerated now. His lips keep moving even when he’s not talking. He has also hit another period of regression and is becoming more and more difficult to manage.

The rest of the summer is going to drag on forever until we figure this out.

Lost and Tired

I totally agree. The problem is that we aren't sure of his sensory needs. I also think some of this is medication related. The other part is that the bipolar is not being managed properly by his current meds. We are going to have to switch to Lithium. He is absolutely manic right now.

I would you up on your offer if you lived closer and we could do the same for you. Thanks again.

I know this isn't always recommended but your case is unique. What about feeding into his stimming and letting that calm his system down a little? Like for Cameron we could let him watch a movie or play a video game. Both keep him nice and calm and relax him. Maybe by calming some of his sensory issues you might find relief with some of his other issues? I can't imagine what it must be like. I wish we were closer so I could give you and Lizze and well deserved night off 😉
